Teaching Methods of the Teacher I Observed
I observed that the teacher makes use of the Direct Method. Teaching is done in the target language so the teacher speaks English in the classroom. This helps the students with their speaking and listening skills.
Their Learning Materials
Students are provided with textbooks, and classes are done with audio-visual material (sometimes from the internet) and visual aids (with pictures).
Sources of Learning and Technology used by the Teachers
The teachers use textbooks, videos, and other audio-visual material. Each classroom has an LCD projector and screen so it is very convenient for the teachers.
Authentic Assessment
The teacher gives written assessments to assess and evaluate student learning, but aside from the traditional method of assessment, teachers also have other ways, like group activities, projects, and performances.
